To me Y Le parfum smells like JPG Eau Fraiche mixed with the Y DNA. Also haven’t had an issue with performance. It doesn’t project as heavy as the edp but lasts just as long on my skin. I have the YSL EDP and they’re very similar, the Le Parfum isn’t as loud and long lasting though. You can definitely use it year round but it shines in the hotter months. I’ve tried others, I actually blind bought Dior Elixir and sent it back. It smelled similar to Sauvage to me but a little more earthy.
