Here is my new Tudor 1926, 39mm with opaline dial. I’ve loved the 1926 line since it was announced and finally got my hands on the 39mm model (41mm seems a lot more popular) and it fits like a dream! . Same movement as the Black Bay 36 too but in a thinner/dressier case without the lume (I'm guessing). The numbers make the dial seem so much .I think the problem the 1926 has on social media is that it's a Tudor, but not a Black Bay or Pelagos. . generally recognized as a good value proposal is more than 1k more expensive and the only performance that adds is the lume together with 5 bar more of wr (but it loses the date). The bracelet on the bb36 is also arguably better made but . The screw-down crown, 100m of water resistance, and in creased shock absorption make it more than your usual dress watch (note that Tudor never actually calls it a "dress" watch-semanitcs, I know, but still fairly telling). If it had lume and some more brushing, it would be a pretty legitimate vintage field watch.

Ive recently stumbled upon the Tudor 1926, specifically the Black dial without diamonds either 36/39 or 41, no idea which would suit my wrist yet. And I find myself going back to it as Im not sure what sort of category it would fall into.
