skateboard backpacks are actually extremely nice for lugging around running gear. if you are willing to spend a little extra the nike sb rpm is perfect, though any bag with skateboard straps works well. the skateboard straps allow you to strap your shoes on the outside of the bag and not getting mud/dirt inside your bag. the nike sb rpm bag also has a bottom strap that is perfect .It doesn't have two shoulder straps like others.
